Only Murders in the Building Season 2’s First Look

Only Murders in the Building’s key trio may not be guilty, but fresh photographs from Season 2 show they are far from innocent (premiering Tuesday, June 28).

New photographs from the season opener, suitably named "Persons of Interest," were released on Thursday by Hulu, including three mugshots of Charles, Oliver, and Mabel in their mugs after they were arrested for Bunny Folger's murder.

 

You may recall that the Season 1 finale included a second whodunit that changed the course of OMITB forever. When Charles and Oliver entered Mabel's apartment at the end of the episode, they found her covered in blood and Bunny's lifeless body.

A SWAT team stormed in and quickly apprehended all three of them. Amateur detectives try to solve Bunny's murder in season 2, but they run into a number of roadblocks along the way, including the fact that "they are now the subjects of a competing podcast" and that "a bunch of New York neighbors who all think they committed murder."  Considering the addition of  Cara Delevingne (Carnival Row), Amy Schumer (Life & Beth) and Shirley MacLaine (Silver Linings Playbook) to the cast, we now have  new characters in Season 2, according to Vanity Fair. There's an art gallery owner (Alice Delevigne), a heightened version of herself (Summer), and Bunny's mother (MacLaine) in the cast.
