The Crow Remake At Cannes

The Crow, the much-anticipated reimagining of the cult classic, will be screened as one of the most sought-after packages at Cannes.

 Featuring alongside singer-actress FKA Twigs (Honeyboy), Bill Skarsgrd (It, Eternals) will adapt James O'Barr's graphic novel. The novel  tells the story of a man who is brutally murdered and then comes back to life as an undead vigilante, seeking revenge for his and his fiancée's deaths.

The Crow, a 1994 film directed by Alex Proyas and starring the late Brandon Lee, became a cult favorite after its release. Several sequels have been released as a result of this film.

Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman) will helm the film this time, with a script by Zach Baylin serving as his guide (King Richard). Molly Hassell (Terminal), Victor Hadida (Resident Evil), John Jencks (Honest Thief), and Edward R. Pressman (American Psycho, Wall Street, and the 1994 Crow) serve as the film's producers.

This summer, filming will begin in Prague, Czech Republic, and Berlin, Germany .

Domestic distribution of the vengeance thriller is handled by CAA Media Finance. In the foreign market, FilmNation has a presence.
