Ali Fazal teases fans with Mirzapur Season 3 update

The ensemble cast of Mirzapur, the popular mafia drama, has reassembled for a third season after two successful seasons. The Family Man, Mirzapur, Breathe: Into the Shadows, Four More Shots Please, Made in Heaven, Panchayat, Mumbai Diaries, and Paatal Lok have all been renewed by Amazon Prime Video.

Ali Fazal, who plays Guddu Pandit in the series, shared a picture of him in character on Instagram. The Fukrey actor's announcement that he was starting work on the show grabbed the interest of fans. Many Mirzapur fans were ecstatic to hear the news and were looking forward to the upcoming third season.

The crime-thriller shows Mirzapur seasons 1 and 2 aired in 2018 and 2020, respectively. On Instagram, Ali posted a monochrome photo of himself holding a gun and looking powerful in an ancient, dusty room.

The actor wrote, "And the time begins!! Prep, rehearsals, readings. Bring it on. Laathi lakkad nahi, ab neeche se joote aur upar se bandookein fire hongi. Lagao haath kamaao kantaap! Guddu aa rahe hain  apne aap. (No sticks and stones, now shoes will rain from below and bullets from above. Guddu is returning all by himself).”

Fans couldn't contain their excitement and flooded the comment area with their thoughts while stating how they're hoping to catch up on the show soon. In addition to a series of heart-shaped emoticons, one of the users commented, "Bhaiya me bhaiya guddu bhaiya.! season 3," accompanied with a heartfelt message. "Jaldi season 3 laiye guddu bhaiya... fir season 4 ka wait bhi to karna hai." commented another.
