Kamal Haasan talks Chachi 420 On The Kapil Sharma Show

Kamal Haasan will make an appearance in the upcoming episode of The Kapil Sharma Show. Kamal Hasan is now promoting his forthcoming film, Vikram (2022).Kapil made jokes about his role in the 1997 film Chachi 420, in which he played a male who transforms into a woman. Kamal portrayed a father who disguised himself as a lady in order to stay near to his daughter in the film.

Kamal bursts out laughing when he hears this. “The assistant director came to tell me my dialogues. And then when I looked down, he started shaking. Because my saari's pallu fell.”
"Eagerly awaiting this episode," wrote one admirer, "and he truly is a legend," wrote another. "Such a supremely talented actor," remarked one commenter in the video's comment area.
Kamal Hasan's own 1996 Tamil film Avvai Shanmughi served as the inspiration for the Chachi 420. Besides Kamal Hasan, the cast included Tabu, Amitabh Bachchan and Johnny Walker, Paresh Rawal, Rajendranath Zutshi, Ayesha Jhulka, Nassar, and Fatima Sana Shaikh, among others.

Jayaprakash Paswan, a dance choreographer's assistant, and Janaki, the only daughter of Seth Durga Prakash Bharadwaj (Amrish Puri), a millionaire, elope. Janki and Jay had been married for a few years, but after a few petty arguments, Janki files for divorce. Jay has one supervised visit each week with his daughter, Janaki, who has custody of their only kid. With no one to turn to, Jay (M. Naseer) decides to kidnap Bharthi out of rage and loneliness. Jay's visiting rights are revoked when he gets convicted of kidnapping. When hesees Durga Prasad's ad looking for a Brahmin maid for Bharthi, he yearsn to be with his child.
In order to change himself into a lady, Jai goes to a make-up artist (Johny Walker). He is able to keep his position by a variety of deceptions and lies. He is delighted to be reunited with his daughter, Lakshmi Godbole, as Mrs. Lakshmi Godbole. Durga Prasad's secretary, Bhanwari Lall Pandit (Om Puri), admires him for the care and concern he exhibits for the infant, which earns him the enmity of other servants. As Lakshmi races to get Durga Prasad to the hospital, he suffers a heart attack. Durga Prasad and Janki owe a debt of gratitude to Lakshmi chachi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity. In the course of his gratitude-turned-love journey, Durga Prasad ends up proposing marriage to Lakshmi.
Lakshmi invents a fake husband to get out of a jam. Hari Bhai (Paresh Rawal), Jay's landlord, is enamored with Chachi as well, which further complicates matters. That all her disputes with Jay were weak and juvenile, she realizes that she still loves him, thanks to Chachi's effect in her mind. That Jay had always been Chachi was clear as soon as she reached out to him. For Durga Prasad's sake, they both conspire to keep it hidden.
Vikram, Kamal's next film, will be released on June 3rd. According to trade sources, Kamal's film has earned more than 200 crore in pre-release business. It also features Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi.

Suriya appears in a cameo role in Vikram, which will also be released in Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj claimed in promotional interviews that he wasn't sure if Suriya would accept the offer at the final minute since he was uncertain. He accepted the offer and completed his piece of the film in two days, filming practically nonstop.
