Kartik Aaryan on His Hiked Salary Post-Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Success

Following the box office success of Bhool Bhulaiya 2, there had been rumors that Kartik Aryan had received a considerable hike in his pay. The actor addressed it himself in an interview.  

He stated, “Digital and satellite rights ek actor ke naam pe, director-producer, inke pure team ke naam pe, film bikti hai. Agar woh price zyada mil raha hai uss time, toh sabka utna price hike hona normal hai.” (The names of an actor, producer, director, and other team members affect the sale of a movie's digital and satellite rights. If there is a hike there, it is only natural that it will result in a hike in prices for everyone.)

He went on, “Agar nahi ho raha hai, toh usko utna hi kam rakho. Lekin, uss film pe pressure nahi aana chahiye, jab aap uss film ko bana rahe ho. Main uss baat mein believe karta hoon.” (However, we ought to bear it in mind if there isn't any.Whatever the situation might be, I don't think a movie should be under any additional pressure as a result of it. This is something in which I really believe in.)

The Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor further added, “Agar uss film ka already on table ek kamayi ho rahi hai and that is because of your previous success combined with the success of the director, producer or basically whoever is related to the film, toh agar sabka uske wajah se balayi ho raha hai toh usmein koi burayi nahi.” (If the movie is able to produce a produce in a certain amount of money, perhaps due to the combined success rate of the director, producer, and everyone else involved with the movie, then it surely will benefit everyone and there is nothing wrong with it.)

Kartik Aaryan tacked on, “But galat tabh ho jaata hai jab film pe pressure aata hai. Jab numbers match nahi karte hai, so that is where you go wrong. I think you have to find a fine balance. Itna bhi hike na ho jaye ki unreal lage.” (However, the issue arises when it increases pressure and when numbers don't line up. Because you don't want the hike to seem surreal, you need to maintain a balance.)

The actor concluded by saying, “Everyone has a graph of success. It is true not just for this profession but for others too. Every person in a profession wants to grow higher, and higher, don’t they?”
