Madhuri Dixit Breaks Silence on Tezaab Remake

Over the course of her career, Madhuri Dixit-Nene has given some of the most memorable performances. Tezaab, the 1988 action romance film co-starring Anil Kapoor and directed by N. Chandra, is one of the most unforgettable films. We will remember Madhuri as Mohini for the rest of our lives. Now that it's being remade, it's making headlines once again.
It was recently claimed that producer Murad Khetani, who produced films including Shahid Kapoor's Kabir Singh (2019), had purchased the rights to the Anil-Madhuri superhit flick. The producer is also expected to begin pre-production on this remake soon, according to reports. It's now been revealed how the film's leading lady felt about the news.
The remake of Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Anil Kapoor's 1988 action-romance film Tezaab by Murad Khetani was recently discussed by Madhuri Dixit-Nene on Pinkvilla. “I don’t know. I have to see the movie, then I’ll be excited.” the actress confessed when asked about her excitement for the future project.
As Madhuri Dixit-Nene continued, “Well, I think if he is touching it then he has that confidence that he is doing something different. It’s an art form, and it’s open for interpretation. So if he has another form or another interpretation of Tezaab, and has the confidence to make it then I am looking forward to seeing it.”
Actress Madhuri Dixit-Nene responded to Rajkumar Santoshi's claim that her skill hasn't been fully utilized in the film industry at the same interview with the director of Pukar (2000) and Lajja (2001). “I am so happy people are saying there is much more to come as that encourages me also to say, ‘yes, people have faith in me’. 35 years plus career and they are still saying that there is so much more to come and they have that faith and confidence in me, that always helps an artist feel better.”
When she received praise, she said, “I will try to reach for the moon because when you get an appreciation you feel like, ‘Oh my God, I got to do something more.’”
