SS Rajamouli’s RRR Out-Performs The Batman At The Global Box Office

RRR, helmed by SS Rajamouli, was released last week on Friday.

Now, following a strong opening weekend, RRR has risen to the top of the global box office, even outperforming the Hollywood blockbuster The Batman. RRR was released in 21 countries and earned an astounding USD 9,500,000 [Rs. 72.13 crore] at the local box office, as well as USD 53,709,000 [Rs. 407.79 crore] in international markets, for a total worldwide collection of USD 63,209,000 [Rs. 479.92 crore]. RRR has topped the charts this weekend, exceeding the international box office performance of the Hollywood action film The Batman, which grossed USD 4,500,000 [Rs. 345.46 cr.] from 77 nations.
