Sanjay Dutt on Drugs

Sanjay Dutt, a well-known actor, has addressed the issue of substance usage among adolescents, advising them to get hooked on life instead. He urged the young generation not to become entangled in the drug-addiction cycle. In an interview with Rahul Mittra, Sanjay Dutt said, "If I can get off drugs, so can you."

“I don’t want people to look at drug abusers as a taboo to society.” he stated. “They need acceptance and a lot of faith to get out of the addiction, which requires a lot of support. Jo nasha zindagi ka hai, jo nasha family ka hai, jo kaam mein milta hai, woh drugs se kabhi nahi mil sakta.”

The Munna Bhai actor also asked drug addicts' families to come out in the open and discuss the issue with their loved ones, rather than treating it as a taboo. He also emphasized the significance of getting effective treatment for drug addicts. “I overcame cancer recently and it was possible only with the support of family and friends,” he said. “Similarly, drug addiction is a disease which needs to be recognized and treated properly.”

Sanjay Dutt will be seen next in KGF: Chapter 2 alongside Yash, Raveena Tandon, and Srinidhi Shetty. On April 14, the film will be released in theaters.
