Sanjay Dutt on Munna Bhai 3

Sanjay Dutt, Yash, and the rest of the KGF 2 cast and crew are undoubtedly overjoyed right now. It was generally believed that KGF Chapter 2 would most certainly make an earth-shattering debut in every country where it is released. Well, it has done precisely that, first shattering the record for the biggest opening ever in the Hindi belt, and then ranking third all-time in India after RRR and Baahubali 2. While Sanjay Dutt supporters are undeniably pleased with his current accomplishment, one concern lingers in the back of their minds: What is the status of Munna Bhai 3?

If you're a real Sanju Baba fan, you can't help but be intrigued about when, if ever, Munna Bhai 3 will be released. If you've been waiting for an update on it for years, you're in luck since the guy himself has finally spoken. Someone  slipped in a question about Munna Bhai 3 during an exclusive interview for KGF 2, and Baba had no difficulty in revealing the most recent news on the long-awaited sequel.

Sanjay Dutt commented on the present situation of the third chapter of his favorite Munna Bhai  series, saying, “Of course, we're making every effort for Munna Bhai 3. Rajkumar (Rajkumar Hirani, the director) also wants to do it, so I hope we're able to make it happen soon. We've done other movies, too, we've done PK, and may do more such films in future, but when talking about the fans, I'm sure that they're most interested in Munna Bhai, so I'll finally say this that the fans should please ask Raju Hirani also, so that we finally get it (laughs a bit).”

KGF Chapter 2, starring Sanjay Dutt, Yash, Raveena Tandon, and Srinidhi Shetty, and written and directed by Prashanth Neel, has made a strong start at the box office and is projected to have a long and healthy run in theaters across the country.
