The Awkward First-Date Story Of Farhan Akhtar and Wife Shibani Dandekar

Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar married last month in a private ceremony.

In the company of their close friends and family, the couple married at Javed Akhtar's farmhouse in Khandala. Shibani and Farhan have been dishing out huge couple goals since then, leaving fans swooning. But did you know that Shibani and Farhan's love started off awkwardly? Farhan Akthar  recalled  the first date with his future wife being  so unusually silent that  the couple  could hear the  “cutlery cutting on the plate” because of the quietness.

"It was very awkward," Farhan remarked in an interview with CNN News18. “Shibani tells people how she could hear the sound of the cutlery cutting on the plate. It was so quiet. I wasn’t talking at all and she had run out of all topics in her head.”

Farhan, on the other hand, recently uploaded a swoon-worthy post for Shibani, his lady love. Shibani was seen laughing her heart out in a photo from Akhtar's wedding, and Farhan appeared absolutely delighted at her.

"Tum hastee raho bas yuhin main yuhin bas dekhta rahoon @shibanidandekar," he captioned the photo on Instagram. "Love you...," Shibani had commented in response to the post. “Thank you for bringing joy and love into my life."
