Yami Gautam On Acting

Actress Yami Gautam, who recently had two great roles in films called A Thursday and Dasvi, recently said that she doesn't really want people to like her work anymore.

Bollywood Bubble asked the actress about how her performance in A Thursday didn't get a lot of attention.

To this, Yami said, "I don’t wish to seek validation of my work, or of my existence in this industry on the basis of some list. To each his own. With due respect, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. You don’t need to be everywhere, you need to be here, you need to be in the moment and you need to do your job, which I think I’m doing something right."

This is just one of many things that the actress said. An actor can't control how people will react to their performance. "There’s only so much you can do as an actor… you need to find your peace.”
