Junglee Pictures Announces their New High-Concept Thriller

The principal character is a clever but tormented inspector who recalls everything, which is both a boon and a curse for him in solving the case. Unlike Aamir Khan’s  character from Ghajini, Shankar Rebeiro suffers from a rare illness called Hyperthymesia, which allows him to remember every event throughout his life, keeping the past close at hand. This character-driven story follows Shankar as he experiences a roller coaster of emotions and heart-pounding turns and turns. A captivating female lead will round out the story's cast, providing a foil for the protagonist's sass and intrigue.

Director Balaji Mohan, known for films like Maari 1 and 2 and Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi, would be in charge of the project. Binky Mendez and Balaji Mohan collaborated on the story and screenplay, and Sumit Arora (Stree, The Family Man - Season 1) and Suraj Gianani wrote the dialogue.

Managing Director Balaji Mohan has a lot to say on the subject. "To be successful, this film required a fresh point of view because of the protagonist's singularity. The audience is kept guessing and on the edge of their seats until the very end by an amalgamation of something deep, dark, and edgy wrapped in a layer of hilarity. Junglee Pictures is a perfect match for these synergies and the experience of working with them has been wonderful. To me, this was the ideal project to make my Hindi film debut. We are very excited to share what we've been working on," Balaji Mohan commented.

The story and script have been strengthened by Binky's unique writing expertise and Balaji's command of commercial sensibilities and well-defined broad appeal. Sumit and Suraj's crisp and hilarious exchanges have pushed it to a new level. This thriller sub genre has soul, which makes it an interesting canvas on which to paint something original."

It's going to be a great year for Junglee Pictures with projects like Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan?, Doctor G, Dosa King, Ulajh, and Click Shankar in the works.
