Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol Won’t Appear In Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani

Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol remain one of Hindi cinema's most popular on-screen pairings. As a result of their numerous collaborations, their fans can't get enough of their dynamic. In Rohit Shetty's Dilwale, they acted together for the last time on screen.   However, there had been rumors that Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol would rejoin for Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, in which Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt also appear. However, it appears that fans will have to put up with a delay.

Bollywood Hungama was told by a source that the claims about SRK and Kajol's appearance in the film are only a rumor. There have been numerous collaborations between SRK and Kajol, including Baazigar, Karan Arjun, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, My Name Is Khan, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Dilwale, and Baazigar. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was Karan's last directorial effort, and SRK made a cameo appearance.

For Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki, which was revealed in April 2022, SRK  is currently engaged in filming. Several scenes from the upcoming Pathaan and Atlee’s untitled film have been shot by the actor. When Pathaan releases in January 2023, SRK will make his return to the big screen. Kajol and Revathee are also working on their next project together.

In the meantime, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh both returned to Mumbai from Delhi after completing their respective filming commitments. After Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Karan Johar makes his directorial comeback with Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi also star in the film. There is a 2023 release date for the film.
