The Witcher has added four new actors to its season 3 cast, all of whom will play characters familiar to fans of Andrzej Sapkowski's books.

Robbie Amell (Upload), Meng'er Zhang (Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings), Hugh Skinner (Fleabag), and Christelle Elwin (Half Bad) have joined the cast of Netflix's fantasy drama.

Ammel plays Gallatin, A born fighter, Gallatin leads an army of guerrilla Scoia'tael fighting on behalf of Nilfgaard. Gallatin's loyalty to his people, unafraid to speak the truth, eventually leads him to a collision course with Francesca over power.

Milva, a human adopted by the dryads of Brokilon Forest, Milva is a fierce and talented huntress will be played by Zhang. Exact archery skills combined with a stone-cold survival instinct make her a formidable adversary in the harsh Continent – those who cross her do so at their peril.

Skinner plays Prince Radovid, a royal playboy and younger brother to King Vizimir, Radovid finds himself suddenly on the inside of the Redanian Intelligence. Radovid, with his good looks and often drunken charm, surprise with how incisive he can be in political matters, but it's all games until someone gets hurt.

Mistle is Elwin, a member of The Rats, a gang of misfit teenagers who steal from the rich and give to themselves – and occasionally the poor. She is tough on the streets, suspicious of everyone, and out for vengeance, until a chance meeting changes everything.

They join returning cast members Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra, and Freya Allan, as well as Joey Batey, MyAnna Buring, Tom Canton, Jeremy Crawford, Eamon Farren, Mahesh Jadu, Terence Maynard, Lars Mikkelsen, Mimî M Khayisa, Royce Pierreson, Wilson Mbomio, Anna Shaffer, Therica Wilson-Read, Cassie Clare, Mecia Simson.

The following is Netflix's description of the new season: "As the Continent's monarchs, mages, and beasts compete to capture her, Geralt takes Ciri of Cintra into hiding, determined to protect his newly reunited family from those who threaten to destroy it." Yennefer, entrusted with Ciri's magical training, leads them to the protected fortress of Aretuza, hoping to learn more about the girl's untapped powers; instead, they find themselves in a battlefield of political corruption, dark magic, and treachery. They must fight back, risk everything, or risk losing each other forever."
