The Paramount+ prequel  to Taylor Sheridan's Yellowstone (2018-), 1932 will star Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, Variety has heard from sources close to the production.

The show takes place in the year of its title, which was marked by Prohibition, the Great Depression, and the expansion of the United States westward. A sequel to 1883,(2021) "1932" tells of the Dutton family's journey to Montana and the establishment of Yellowstone Ranch in the mothership series. At Paramount+, 1932 was picked up for a full season back in February. The show is part of Sheridan's overall Paramount contract.

Ford has set up a second TV lead part in the last few months. When Shrinking was unveiled in April, it was the first major television role of Ford's career. In addition to his roles in Star Wars, Blade Runner,(1982) and Indiana Jones, Harrison Ford is now filming the fifth installment of the latter franchise, which will see him return as the world-traveling archaeologist.

According to a statement made by the streaming service, the next Taylor Sheridan film will introduce a new generation of Dutton family and explore the early twentieth century during a time of pandemics, historic drought, the end of prohibition, and the Great Depression that plague the mountain west. It will premiere in December and will be produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions, among other entities.

Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford are two such celebrities. Trevor Leighton and Michael Buckner/Deadline provided the information.There is a steady improvement in the quality of the cast each season of Yellowstone. Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford have been cast in the upcoming Dutton origin story 1932 (working title).

According to a statement made by the streaming service, the next Taylor Sheridan film will

Yellowstone, starring Kevin Costner as John Dutton, has just begun production on Season 5 following a record-breaking fourth season.
