From the trailer, The Gray Man (2022) promises to be a nail-biting cat-and-mouse hunt throughout the globe. The trailer of Russo Brothers' $200 million espionage thriller,  starring Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling, has dropped on youtube, courtesy of Netflix. Check it out  below.

Along with Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Regé-Jean Page, and other big names of Hollywood, Dhanush is currently gearing up for his Hollywood debut. Earlier this month, the first look of the Russo Brothers' film was made public. Dhanush was seen bleeding profusely from the face as he stood on the roof of a car.

The official synopsis for the film reads: “The Gray Man is CIA operative Court Gentry (Ryan Gosling), aka, Sierra Six. Plucked from a federal penitentiary and recruited by his handler, Donald Fitzroy (Billy Bob Thornton), Gentry was once a highly-skilled, Agency-sanctioned merchant of death. But now the tables have turned and Six is the target, hunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen (Chris Evans), a former cohort at the CIA, who will stop at nothing to take him out. Agent Dani Miranda (Ana de Armas) has his back. He’ll need it.”'If you want to build an omelette, you'll have to kill some people,' says Lloyd in the teaser.

Aside from them, Jessica Henwick, Wagner Moura,, Billy Bob Thornton and Alfre Woodard will also star in the film adaptation of Mark Greaney's ten-book series. The impressive line-up also includes Regé-Jean Page, Julia Butters, Eme Ikwuakor, and Scott Haze. Joe and Anthony Russo, who wrote and directed Avengers: Endgame (2019) alongside Stephen McFeely, his longtime collaborator, who has also written the script for this film.

According to Anthony Russo's previous comments to Deadline regarding the film,  “The movie is a real mano a mano between those two great actors who represent two different versions of the CIA, in what it can be, and what it can do. For those who were fans of Captain America: Winter Soldier (2014), this is us moving into that territory in more of a real-world setting. That’s what this movie really means for us.”

Joe Russo stated, “The intention is for it to be competitive with any theatrical, and the ability to do it with Gosling and Evans is a dream for us. The idea is to create a franchise and build out a whole universe, with Ryan at the center of it. We have all committed to the first movie, and that’s got to be great to get us to the second movie. These are master assassins, and Gosling’s character gets burned by the CIA and Evans’ character has to hunt him down. We have a great working relationship with Netflix, and we go back almost 20 years with Scott Stuber. We formed AGBO to be an agnostic storytelling company, where we figure out the best platform. We think Netflix is the perfect place for this film.”

After The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir in 2019, Dhanush returns to the international stage this year.. Netflix will begin streaming The Gray Man a week after the movie opens in theaters, on July 15.
