JAI BHIM WINS TWO HONORS AT THE BOSTON INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

A lot of attention has been paid to TJ Gnanavel's directorship in the last several months. The Boston International Film Festival has just announced that Jai Bhim has received two honors.

Several prizes have been bestowed recently on the highly praised film Jai Bhim, starring actor Suriya. I think the film starring Suriya deserves all the praise it has received. Having won Best Film and Best Supporting Actor at the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival, the film has done exceptionally well in the Boston International Film Festival.

The Boston International Film Festival has given Jai Bhim two additional honors.  Award-winning actors Lijomol Jose and SR Kathir both won the Best Cinematography prize at this year's prestigious Indie Spirit Film Festival. This brought the film to a whole new level of success.

At the Boston International Film Festival, Jai Bhim won the Indie Spirit Award for Best Actress and the Indie Spirit Award for Best Cinematography."Lijomol Jose and SR Kathir Sir, many congratulations on your awards. A tweet from the official 2D Entertainment account read: "Thank you Boston International Film Festival for the honor. TJ Gnanavel's directorial team is thrilled to have won these prestigious accolades at the prestigious Boston International Film Festival”. It's worth noting that Jai Bhim was nominated for Best Picture at the 94th Oscars. However, the picture did not make the nominees list.

The plot of Jai Bhim centers on a pregnant woman who turns to an advocate for assistance after her husband disappears while in police custody. The film exposes the injustices faced by India's marginalized groups in the face of its corrupt court system.

Prior to Diwali last year, the legal thriller premiered straight on Amazon Prime Video and was acclaimed by both audiences and critics.
